Better Than I Ever Knew

I attended the Euphoria Music Festival last weekend at the Thunderhill Raceway in Kyle, TX.  I had a great time covering the event.  Really good vibes the whole night.

Went to eat at Red’s Porch earlier this week with a friend.  We had some fried pickles and I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese.  Everything was really fantastic and the service was great!

I really love their patio.  They have giant tables for big parties or smaller ones.  We also brought the dogs with us, and our waiter brought a big dog bowl of ice cold water.

Went to see The Hunger Games last Friday afternoon at the Alamo Draft House @ Lakecreek.  I went to the 2:30pm showing, arrived about 20 minutes early, and still sat in my favorite seat.  Theater was busy, but not totally crowded.  I walked out into a madhouse!  People were lined up inside and two separate lines on the outside for the later showings.  They were also serving beer through their cooler kegs on the patio, and a band was setting up to provide entertainment.  At least the weather was nice!

On the hunt.  You never know…maybe CL will come through!
